Portfolio's

Electronic or physical portfolio? Is the question on my mind, now that I am back into job hunting for the summer. There are perks to both - I believe that electronic portfolio's seem more impressive, but how many employers will really look at them? My physical portfolio doesn't feel impressive when I flip through it, maybe I need a new design, but is it worth the effort if electronic is the way to go? It does feel nice though to go into an interview holding a portfolio, I think it makes the employer intrigued by what you've done. So I believe my problem is that I don't want to let down the employer, portfolio's are what "professionals" have in my mind and right now neither of my portfolios feel professional enough. By tomorrow I need to decide because I'm meeting with an employer Wednesday, hopefully I will get some much needed inspiration soon.
